My name is Giovanna Guszak although I prefer my nickname Vanna.
I started Imotion Logistics in 2009 and is a Women Owned Company.
I immigrated to America with my parents Angelo and Rosetta when I was 6 years old from Milan Italy. Along with my three older siblings, we were on a quest to the land of opportunity to achieve the American Dream.
My parents worked endless hours in the catering industry after arriving to Southern California.
Through my parents hard work they were able to realize their dream of raising their family and purchasing a family home in Hawthorne California.
When I was 16, They opened an Italian Deli in Torrance California. The pride and passion my parents had for our customers.
They treated our regulars like family... and in way they were. Telling stories, sharing photos with the aroma of fresh sauce in the air. It brought a connection and a sense of community.
The lessons I learned from my parents along with the 2009 financial crisis motivated me to start Imotion Logistics.
With the support of my family, we have celebrated over tens years of helping our customers delivering their freight to the right place at the right time.
I have over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry that included ground , air, Ocean and international logistics.
My company prides itself on personalized service and attention to detail that my customers deserve.
Now with over 10 years after the formation of Imotion Logistics, through hard work and dedication, I feel it honors my parents legacy.
